	Manitee love warm water and this gentle creature is found in most of the rivers in Florida. There is a manitee preserve on the Caloosahatchee River. There you can rent a canoe - or take the tour boat, to see manitee up close. It's difficult to take a picture of a manitee- they're either bobbing up for air like a giant baked potato, or rolling and doing somersaults as they play.
